Virginia Lawyer Register DISCIPLINARY SUMMARIES The following are summaries of disciplinary actions for vio-lations of the Virginia Rules of Professional Conduct (RPC) (Rules of the Virginia Supreme Court Part 6, ¶ II, eff. Jan. 1, 2000) or another of the Supreme Court Rules. Effective October 22, 2019, the Virginia State Bar Disciplinary Board revoked James Christopher Chamblin’s license to prac-tice law based on his affi davit consenting to the revocation. By tendering his consent to revocation at a time when allegations of misconduct are pending, Chamblin acknowledges that the material facts upon which the allegations of misconduct are predicated are true. By tendering his consent to revocation at a time when allegations of misconduct are pending, Copier acknowledges that the material facts upon which the allegations of miscon-duct are predicated are true. Rules of Court, Part 6, Section IV, Paragraph 13-28 www.vsb.org/docs/Copier-111919.pdf Marc Ericson Darnell Newport News, VA 18-010-109107, 18-010-110173, 18-010-110371, 18-010-112242 Effective September 18, 2019, the Virginia State Bar Disciplinary Board suspended Marc Ericson Darnell’s license to practice law in the Commonwealth of Virginia for three years for violating professional rules that govern competence, diligence, communication, safekeeping property, bar admission and disciplinary matters, and misconduct. This was an agreed disposition of misconduct charges. This was an agreed disposition of misconduct charges. This was an agreed disposition of misconduct charges.
