Virginia Law Foundation Grants $500K to Pro Bono and Rule of Law Projects for 2020 The Virginia Law Foundation has granted $500,000 to Virginia organiza-tions that help provide access to justice or highlight the Rule of Law as a basis for a peaceful, stable, and prosperous society. VLF grants fund a variety of projects and organizations, including legal aid nonprofits, CLE conferences, medical-legal partnerships, and public service internships for law students. MCLE Compliance Deadline Reminder Due to the COVID-19 pandemic the completion deadline for the 2020 MCLE requirement has been extended from October 31 to midnight EST December 31, 2020. The CLE hours need to be reported no later than 4:45 p.m. EST February 15, 2021. www.vsb.org Active lawyers are mailed an MCLE end-of-year report in mid-November, and any MCLE hours missing from the report must be reported by February 15, 2021. All Active lawyers are required to complete a minimum of 4 live interac-tive CLE credit hours each year. Contact the course sponsor with any questions.
