Dozens of lawyers and more than 400 clients have been affected to date.” Hausrath is the founder and princi-pal in BaryLaw, serving individuals and small business owners with estate and legacy planning, relationship disso-lution, and name and gender marker changes. Hausrath is a founding mem-ber of VEBA, and a former president of the Richmond LGBTQ Chamber. Hausrath has also been a guest lecturer at both William & Mary Law School and University of Richmond School of Law. Clapp is an associate at the firm Calderon Seguin, PLC, where he focuses his practice on criminal defense and traffic matters, as well as handling custody matters for immigrant children who have been abandoned, abused or neglected, and who come to the United States for care. In his free time, he helps write grants for DC’s Different Drummers, a LGBTQ+ music organization in D.C. that includes a 90-member symphonic band, a marching band and a jazz band.
